Prince of Persia: Rival Swords for the PSP - Image 1

It's been about three months since the announcement that Prince of Persia: Rival Swords would be delayed for the PSP until 2007. And don't get us started on how long it's been 2007. Ubisoft still hasn't been pretty particular about a release date.

But it looks like Pocket Gamer got their mitts on a PSP-specific trailer and four little screenshots (emphasis on "little" - bear with us here), and a little inkling starts to set in: does that mean it's almost done? Well, given the time they had in order to push it out there, it's pretty much expected that they deliver.

So what exactly have they been doing to a game that had been finished two years ago? They've been adding stuff that PC fans would "rewind" for. This version will be sporting PSP exclusive content, including chariot racing and multiplayer racing over obstacle courses.

It's a general anticipation that the game will be released at late March. And they'd better, because they have the largest development studio in the world and if the movie comes out first before this one does, that would be pretty embarrassing!

This game WILL be a peice of Sh$t...

If they leave the same bug that practically RUINED the first game! That extremely laggy audio. Sad thing, it was actually a good game. Also, I hope that this game will have more frequent SAVE points. This is a PORTABLE game. I should be able to save whenever I need to.
