The last time we updated you on the highly-anticipated game that promises to tie up all the loose ends about Cloud, Sephiroth and Zack of Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII on the PlayStation Portable, we gave you a few nifty-yet-blurry scans to chew on. Now, thanks to zak234 and tipster Mehso, we can finally see in high-resolution glory just what's in store for PSP users all over the world when the game finally gets released, through these improved scans.
One thing to note with these scans - now that we can really see the actual images without squinting or resorting to Photoshop trickery - is that the visual quality of the characters are absolutely stunning. In all honesty, Sephiroth, Tifa, Zack and Cloud never looked so good and similar to their Advent Children selves - and that's with their in-game counterparts, mind.
Square Enix definitely has a classic on their hands, with a massive fanbase eagerly anticipating their next trip into Midgar. It doesn't hurt that they kept most of the game's roots intact, as evidenced by Odin's Zantetsuken attack. It's good to have the the sword-wielding guy back on your side and slashing things in half, isn't it?

for PSP this year besides GoW
ya know, the only final fantasy I really give a damn about is the ffIIV... It was because of the big sword. I love that thing. Why does every other final fantasy try to copy that huge sword, I'll never know.

My hole! Maybe if your screen is set to 320x240 or something. What is with the low caliber of posts these days?
yeah, i used to hate that the scans were always small on qj, but realised all the images are previews. you have to click on the blue "open in new window" icon for EACH picture, which is annoying, but at least now you know.
i said how you can view the full-res picture. it's not very obvious, and quite annoying, but at least they aren't lying

I posted links to them in my post, before dutchmasta told me I had to click on the litle blue icon.....I usualy just right click the images and press open in new tab... I dunno why QJ put this damn image pop-up system, it was so better before

u should play berserk. it makes better use of a huge ass sword.
I am pretty sure those are in-game graphics, Zack looks way more girly in the video....that was young Zack though, perhaps he lost that look when he grew, I have yet to see a movie of the older Zack that are in those scans
My Sentiments exactly Nights. Oh and when they finally give us more detail on the DMC game for the PSP than thats right up there. Also GoW is not coming out until early next year.
