gun showdown psp

Just when you thought cowboys will never be the same after Brokeback Mountain, Gun Showdown - already announced for the Xbox 360 - for PSP comes a-galloping along. Gun Showdown is set in the lawless Wild West, a time before Oscar-winning genderbenders became en vogue. A place where outlaws and bounty hunters expressed their affection for each other through the barrel of their guns and bullets between the eyes.

In Gun Showdown, gamers play the role of Colton White, an orphaned gunslinger on journey of self-discovery. Not that kind of self-discovery. Gun Showdown is a free-roaming, untamed Western action adventure where you will shoot, stab, and dynamite your way through with new wireless multiplayer and quickplay modes, missions, and gameplay features unique to the PSP.

The gameplay features five new story missions that include breaking up a moonshine ring, taking down a rebel gang, robbing a bank and protecting an innocent family from the bad guys. Gun Showdown is gritty and reeks of gun powder. Finally something that will put an end to John Wayne's grave-spinning. Expect it to ride into the sunset and into stores in Q3 2006.

could have been...

...a good game and really started off to be one. Then the bottom fell out somewhere. way too much like "ok, ive got 5 more ranch hand missions and two more pony express mission".

Oh please...

Cowboy's are overrated. I like the whole Sergio Morricone ambience but your little Brokeback Mountain joke was spread out like love juice over too much butt. Oohh! Thank God we are back to lawless violence in the old west!! I was getting too much of that real-life-mirroring-drama-about-poor-people-going-through-their lives-repressing-the-emotions-towards-those-who-made them-really-happy that could make idiots think a little! And about the game... why isn't this another racing game?!? I really need to pretend I'm on the go when I'm on the go!! :P

hm

graphics don't look too bad to me..they'll do. And graphics shouldn't make a game. Gameplay does. No offense, but the graphics in the original Gun weren't all that impressive to me. But they worked fine on my PC, and it was a real great game. Unfortunately, I just fail to see how they're going to make the controls right. That's the biggest problem with PSP games, is the lack of good controls. Who knows what will happen, I just hope this turns out right.

"this is coming to the 360 if you read you will find the answer my son" I wanted to make sure it wasn't a mistake. Don't call me son.(unless you are from the south then i will forgive you)
