And as the release date comes closer, there are more and more PS2-diehards wondering if it will also be released for the PS2. Sorry, GTA:VCS is coming out only for the PSP. But come on! Yes, the PS2 fans have a point: a big game deserves to be on a "bigger" platform like a PS2. But the PSP makes it GTA-on-the-go! And the story, gameplay, and mood have not been sacrificed -- they've only been made portable (just as portable as the Vice City toys)!
If you're a GTA fan and still don't have a PSP, you better start saving up. As more trailers, scans, and screen shots come out closer to the release date, you might just cave in and get a PSP!
I mentioned mood. Yes, the GTA games just ooze mood and atmosphere, and with this one... well, I just have to say that it's a visually good-looking game. I mean, the colors and style of this GTA installment just make every scene look so humid and sweaty. Hahaha! I wonder if the timing of the development and release of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories has anything to do with that movie "Miami Vice" coming out (almost as if you have to put on sunblock to play the thing or else you'll get skin cancer).
While we're waiting for the first "official trailer" of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (it might not be released for a couple of weeks - just wait for it), here are a few screenshots to get you through this tough time of waiting.

LCS got a PS2 port, so I wouldnt doubt a ps2 version of VCS

Yay for vice city stories but! Here's what I want to read on this site one day. online play Wall climbing. Like spider-man Edisoncarter is a character in the game Actual sport play, not that crappy basketball game from San An. Real pools MP3 CUSTOM TRACKS Hot Coffee (yes the sex) Laser weapons Gangs, good ones too that watch your back and don't just stand around waiting to get shot. A good story. The LCS one was sparse and lame. Returning characters was a treat but there's nothing special about it beyond that. Alien Invasion. At least give us a clue for why there's an area 69. Also the reason there's a laser weapon. More gorey deaths for peds. What happened to the body parts falling off from GtA3? I want to see their heads roll and not just pop like a baloon. What else... skateboards. I wouldn't mind pulling off a grind between missions and holding onto cars etc.
i can't wait for this, even if they did port it to ps2 i wouldn't get it, i love playing multiplayer with my friends and cousins i wonder what new game modes they will have

basically we havnt got any more iformation than we expected or have before. The screenshots have already been released. Dont worry, it will go on PS2 like it did with LCS
This may seem great, but if it's bigger than the original VC won't it take longer to load areas. Also, logically San Andreas Stories would be the next step, but wouldn't that be too large to fit on a single UMD. The original game came on a dual layered disc.

a "bad" friend told me tht gangs of london needs 2.6, and seeing as this is being released shortly after, i cant see it needing 2.7 or higher, which devhook will cover.

i wonder if VCS is going to support custom tracks because i have a memory stick devoted to LCS and i'm hoping i can do the same with this new game.
it might not require 2.8 because i thought ncaa football would requir 2.7 or 2.71 but it only required 2.6
GTA games won't appeal to me anymore... San Andreas is just too good for me to pick up this game! rofl! The heck with 2.8 emulation... why waste a perfect exploit on hacking a dumb firmware update like 2.8? you use it on 2.8 and sony patch it... you have to find another one if you wanna keep going... even if they patch 3.0 you can still use the exploit to hack 2.8! keep it till 3.0 won't hurt!
I dont know why gta doesnt have ragdolls yet that would be the coolest thing ever instead of those crappy animations that look all awkward. When i hit somebody i want them to go flying and sprawl over another car!
