Too bad it looks terrible. I hope that's not the final design. from the front when it's closed it looks like every other android phone out there. sigh.
but wait! When you get a look at the side you realize it's not like the typical android phone at all! It looks like a motherfucking brick. It's bigger than Jay Leno's chin for crying out loud.

looks like its going to be the same thickness as an x10 mini, but longer like the x10. which is going to make it slightly thick but hardly something to worry about they are going with hardware buttons which will make it far more practical for gaming than say the onscreen controls for the iphone which bug the crap out of me. the dual touchpads instead of more nubs will be to save space and also leave it open to ps2 games aswell as psp & Ps1 games. The thought of playing GOW 1&2 and FFXII will have me buying one on launch

Release date?..Looks cool but yeah no Analog stick's?...I hope this is what Sony's planning for the Spring or Summer of 2011 I wonder who's going to be the provider? Android is part of Verizon Wireless as well Hmmm.. Well my next phone is the Droid X.. Can't be to picky I bet this is going to be $599! Ouch!.. PSP2?..Nope just a Iphone killer perhaps?.;.

It's a PSP attempting a shot at the smartphone business. It's going to flop. It will have it's pluses over the iphone (expmple: if you get mugged, hit them in the head with it and they'll be out cold) but all it's going to be is another android out there.
Honestly once the iPhone hits CDMA, it's all over for the Android.

DAMN IT LOOKS SEXY!.... i don´t care if it looks like an android...you have psp gaming buttons + trackpad sticks... for me its fucking epic!!, plus the phone feature something that psp fans we always wanted...anyways i hope they make quality games and not shitty phone games..because come on... this is such a powerfull little machine so they better get the most out of it...I DON´T CARE if it doesn´t support psp games but they better make games like the onses on the psp or even better...i would hate to see shitty games on this beautiful device :D, for me is the perfect mobile device.. INTERNET, FLASH SUPPORT, PHONE, "PSP LIKE GAMES",i mean ..come on

I like how as soon as the "keyboard" is slid out, the Launcher stops responding and needs to be force closed. Thats a sign of a great product if you ask me.

This device will fail epically just like ngage did, why?
Well Its bad at being a game device (psp2 on the way as Well as 3DS) and knowing SonyEricsson the ogine Will be byggy with bad support. I dig my iPhone but will get me a proper handheld once psp2 or 3DS are out. Don't waste ur money on this I think.
Why the hell Sony released a device like this so close to the release of psp2 is beyond me though. Considering the games won't be compatible it is just insane to have 2 stores + devices.
Ps. I have an x10 and I hate it, slow bad menus, bad battery etc etc. Won't be fooled again neither just like someone said.
Android sucks simple as that.

THANK YOU SONY FOR PUTTING ANDROID ON THIS!!!! Here's what you guys aren't understanding I think. Regardless of what is built in, there are lots of apps in the Android Market that are awesome, you can make "Homebrew" without cfw, and emulators are abundant for Android. Personally, it's annoying to play some games on my current Droid X, but I'll be getting this FOR SUREE!!!

Only thing that phone is going to play is sony's awesome psp mini library. There is your games and psp store for this silly gimmick device. If you cannot see it you are in denial.

I'm not saying that the iPhone is better. Statistically more people want it, and that's why if a CDMA version were released on Verizon/Sprint/any other CDMA service, Android is dead. I like it only because iOS 4 isn't as buggy as every android build I've played with.
I just think that since anything PSP-related is in the hands of Sony, it's going to fail. If not at launch, but in later software updates. and this just might sell slightly better than the N-gage, that's all.

A touchscreen, regular buttonsetup+2 digital control sticks and supposedly a touch on the back? I'm seriously doubting the last one. xD

I'm satisfied with what I see here though, it seems it'll have a separate PSP section for the PSP games. I suppose you'll be able to play Android games on it as well. Looks like this'll be a must buy. ^^
