Gamestop.comGamestop.com is offering a 10% discount of any single PSP game or movie. All you have to do is add the game or movie to your cart and use the coupon code PSPUMD. There is about a day left on the stop-watch sale so if your interested you better be quick. As with all Gamestop.com sales it's only valid on in-stock items and it's only valid online. This might be the time to pick up that game you've been eyeing. Personally, I think I'll order Worms: Open Warfare.

» Please DO NOT shop at GameStop or EB!!!

Remember to never buy from GameStop or EB. If this company is running a sale it is NEVER out of the kindness of their black heart but rather to compete with another company running the same offer. I have not researched what other company may be offering the 10% discount but im sure it wouldn't take me long to find out. This company is run by slime.

» Who cares?

Why do you care if someone puts on a sale becasue they are nice or not? It's business, and just because someone is not doing this to be "kind" doesn't mean you shouldn't buy from them. Why did you even write this? Just go be an anonymous coward somewhere else and stop writing unneeded lowsey comments in the forum.

» slime or not

them being/not being slime has nothing to do with how horrible the service from either of those stores is. last three games i ordered from ebgames got lost in the mail, and all three times they did not offer to pay for shipping.

» gamestop

i just remember gamestop got sued for repackaging used titles and selling them as new or at least new prices.

I dont shop gamestop for that reason

» info about gamestop's lawsuit

nah they got sued because they were cool and allowed people to return a new video game if they didnt like it. they then resold the game as new but thats against the law because someone technically owned it before.

it sucked because instead of being able to return games just because you dont like them, they locked down the policy on returns. (at least where i worked, in pittsburgh, pa)

gamestop isnt the best company, they did do some pretty dirty tactics to any game store that wouldnt allow themselves to be bought out, just to drive them into the ground and then buy them or just replace them, but its a pretty cool shop.

just some info.

» Game shopping

Where I shop I have Gamestop, Game, and HMV all with 20 paces of one another -

It makes for some good bargins because they keep trying to out do one another. HMV however are the biggest cheaters you can find. It's incredible to think people are gullible enough to fall for their 10% off loyality card offer, when their prices are EXACTLY 10% higher than the other 2 shops.

» Thanks for bringing up that point.

Yes, GameStop does repackage "shelf" copies as well as copies that were "borrowed" from employees and sold as NEW with no discount. Thanks for reminding me of those points.

» Gamestop Does Suck

I agree. Gamestops service is HORRIBLE. They do repackage and they are dirty. Here's what I cant understand: Why does everyone buy from them? Their prices are no better than most locally owned game shops, such as Rhino. Best Buy, Circuit City, Wal Mart... same prices. Accessories are actually cheaper at the other guys and quality is generally better (except Wal Mart). New game prices are the same everywhere. So Gamestop may get new releases a day before the smaller guys, but for me, a day is nothing. I'll give my business to a small local guy trying to make it with his own business rather than a corporate Satan such as Gamestop. EB was pretty good before Gamestop got them. It's a filthy rich corporation with stores world-wide and no concern for its customers. Don't buy there. Give the smaller guys a chance and I promise it'll pay off for you. Oh, also, my locally owned game shop gives an average of 15% more for your trades than EB or GS. Think about it. Don't fall prey just because its a bright flashy store.
