GamesCom 2009: Collaboration and cooperation in new Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker video

Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker made another big splash at the events circuit this week during the ongoing GamesCom at Cologne. The game was shown off during the event via a 9-minute-long video that gave out a few more insights into the gameplay, particularly Peace Walker's co-op structure.

Check out the video below. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is scheduled for release next year.

I laughed half the time this video's length. Especially the part with the noob getting own by a tank and later MISSING, actually MISSING the tank that is like 20ft away with an RPG. LOL, then he gets blown up right after.



I like the idea of co-op, but I don't understand this new co-op gameplay through. Do you play solo with extra characters to play, or does others who has a PSP play also?



BTW, the story is going to weirdly awesome. 4 Snakes? WTF

this is awesome.. i can understand 2 snakes as it is naked snake and solid snake.. but 4 snakes?.. wtf?.. who are the other 2 anyway?.. dont tell me theyre solid's brothers: liquid and solidus?.. nah.. probably just clones.. haha..

I don't think the other three Snakes were actually part of the story. Most likely, they're just placeholders or other players using Snake as a character.



Like, in the actual game you could probably use Snake, Eva, Ocelot, and a recruit.





Anyway, Hideo's wit and humor never gets old.
