The cast of the Japanese erotic visual novel, Fate/stay night, has decided to go for less ass-showing and more ass-kicking in Fate/unlimited codes. Now this vid isn't much like the "visual" novel or the anime that you've gotten used to, but it might get you interested in this 3D fighter for the PSP.

Graphics and physics kinda remind me of King of Fighters and Marvel vs. Capcom. Some wicked combos shown there, including sweet air combos, but it really doesn't stand out as a 3D fighter. One great thing about it is that fans of the Fate get to see familiar anime cut scenes, as well as enjoy the same art style that they've seen from the novels.

Fate/unlimited codes is slated for a summer release in North America, available only as a digital downloadable on the PlayStation Store for US$ 29.99.

can't wait for this game!

"...but it really doesn't stand out as a 2D fighter." Then please explain to me why Fate/Unlimited Codes is in Super Battle Opera? It's not as popular here in the west because there's too few arcades around. It's a 3D fighter by the way. "Graphics and physics kinda remind me of King of Fighters and Marvel vs. Capcom." Err not really.. this reminds me more of Melty Blood except with 3 times longer combos and side-stepping involved.

whoops, i meant 3D

and it was the air combos and large combo count that reminded me of the two fighters that i mentioned :)
