With the new Formula One 2006 game, PSP and PS2 gamers will be able to play against each other via the internet. Gamers can race online and complete the 18-race season, as if they're actually driving in the championship season.
As this is the only official game of the 2006 FIA F1 World Championship, there will be new features and it will be loaded with the official circuits, rules, teams, cars and drivers exclusive only to the Formula One 2006 game.
The extensive career mode is also present in this game which will allow gamers to play the role of anyone in the game, like the role of Chief Engineer.

so can you play on a psp with ps2 users online?
Wow I'm really looking forward to this game. The only thing I hope they change from the European 05 game (which I Impored) is the part when you touch anopposing racer and immediately slow down to 30 MPH. Hope they make it a bit more realistic this time. Looking forward to online.
i hope in the formula one 2006 game they will make monaco better because each time you go around the track you hit the side when you go round that tight corner and it annoys me. i think it is a brilliant idea to play anyone in the f1 season as the driver, the manager or anyone. plus i think they should make the damage a bit better because if you go really fast and then strate into the wall you will probably only loss a frount wing, i think a wheel should brack off and all of the frount to be bent.
