First batch of screenshots for Wild Arms XF |
Ó
And so, after six months since it was first announced, we're finally getting some actual screenshots for Media.Vision's contribution to the PSP game library, Wild Arms XF (Cross Fire). Of course, we've seen those tiny little pictures from the scans that we posted previously, but then again, nothing beats an up close look on this title's game environment.
The screenshots that we have here clearly show the hex grid system that is implemented in the game. As mentioned in the previous Famitsu scan, each hex has its own properties which will affect a unit's speed and range of movement. For example, a hex that indicates rough terrain or is elevated can somehow impede a character's advance towards a target.
Anyway, the game still remains undated, so until we get new updates on this title, enjoy the screenies.

that looks like a PS1 game!
This wild arms looks like it kinda sucks.
Man, that looks like a stupid DS game. What's wrong with these developers that are so half-assed at what they bring to the PSP? Don't they know that if they made an RPG that actually took advantage of the PSP's hardware that maybe their games might sell better.
PSP gamers are not DS kids; PSP gamers want quality high-production games!
No need to bash it because it looks 2D. As long as it plays well and has a lot of good, tactical gameplay, who cares if its in 3D or not.
it looks like a super nintendo game actually. CHrono trigger mgiht infact look better.
Aside from the pictures being widescreen it looks as if it was meant for the old-school GameBoy Color. Most SNES games put this trash to shame.
Theres been better looking 2D games out, it also looks overly complicated and slow-paced to be on a handheld too. But whatever, this game was meant for the DS!, maybe the developers got alil mixed up O_O.
the graphics look pretty good and im a fan of tactical RPG games so im going to buy this game, i know there isnt alot of good PSP games out there but there really shoud be more RPG games like final fantasy for the psp
Looks similar to the old version of shining force for ps2, cant remember which one but like a downgraded version and yes it does look like gba graphics but might be fun like shiet!
