Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War strategic gameplay video |
Ó
We've seen a number of videos for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War - the intro, the abduction, and even the videos from the Square Enix Party. Today, we've got the Waterfall battle featuring a fight on strategic terrain. We see that it's usually a bad thing to be trapped in the middle of a bridge and surrounded by enemies at either end. Good thing our heroes brought some friends along.
Square Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War for the PlayStation Portable will be coming to these shores come October this year so better watch out. Anyway, better watch the video to see what we mean. Enjoy!

Looks like....FF Tactics.lol
Ah that's good ol' Tactics! Looking pretty damn good although I hope there's no lagging in the final product
what are the diferences between this game and the psx version?
Like Jake said, I hope there will be no lagging in the final product, look at Gafgarion when he's using his Night Sword, the sound doesnt fit with the animation...
=( hope it will be fixed for the US release...
that's laggy as hell.
with ur cfw set to 333 mhz in umd/iso, it wont lag
Other people have tried setting it to 333 and it didn't help. It's a problem with the porting. Hopefully SE will fix it up for the US release!
The lag is terrible and there's no echo on the audio (which makes the music sound like midi instead of an orchestra, and the lessens the awesomeness of the death cries). I just can't imagine how they managed to screw this up.
With 333mhz it WILL lag! And I think that this game is unplayable with 222mhz, I setup the OE-A to use the "default speed" and the game ran at the worst speed possible. :-(
Damn you Square!
OH MY GOD MUSIC QUALITY LOWERED???
SLOWDOWNS???
CHEAP PORT???
***** YOU SQUARE ENIX ***** YOU -HARD- I will only forgive you if you fix this ***** in the US release okay bye
