FFXII characters cross over to FF Tactics |
Ó
Since the much anticipated PSP game, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion Wars and the well loved PS2 game, Final Fantasy XII, share the same Ivalice universe, it wouldn't be surprising that FFXII characters are making an appearance on FFT: Lion Wars. Vaan and Penelo returned in FFXII: Revenant Wings so why should the PSP version not be blessed with FFXII characters. With that Japanese website, GameBase, mentioned that one FFXII character is indeed making an appearance on FFT. That character is the Strahl pilot, Balthier. Well, all we can say is that we wouldn't be surprised if more characters cross over to FF Tactics, like Balthier's companion Fran or even Dr. Cid.
How about you? Which FFXII character would you like to see in FF Tactics? Feel free to comment on that and remember that we'll keep you posted for FFT: Lion Wars developments.

Comments [refresh]
the Ivalice of FFT and of FFXII is vastly different
frankly I don't care much for little fanservice character shoe-ins from other games
but it's bound to happen the way squeenix likes to re-use every single character they create
oo wow well i was expecting someone else.. balthier is a good character in FF 12.. bad ass pimp haha glad to see him in FFT the new one.
Well, if they have a FFXII character in, Balthier would be the one I would pick. Maybe they should add in a character from every FF from 7 and up...?
And whats wrong with cameos from other games? Its pretty much confirmed that Ivalice in FFXII is the past of the Ivalice in FFT. As long as it doesnt ruin anything, there can be as many extra characters as they want.
Dr. Cid? We only need one Cid in FFT, for he is the Thunder God.
QJ fixed the spoiler, but deleted all the comments, lame.
one word..reddas
Balthier would be excellent to have in their it would increase sales by 80%. Squeenix, give Balthier his own game, and watch it fly off the shelves.
to also fix the timeline confusion in the Ivalice Universe.
i wonder if cloud and aeris will be im the psp version like the psx version
meh
I love final fantasy but i did not like final fantasy XII or FFT or FFT advance (the first one featuring montblanc) and i probably wont like FFT the lion wars mainly because i dislike Tactics games but i also disliked the fact that they reuse ivalice so much it is my least favorite FF world and in FFXII i did not like it becuase they tried to make it feel like a MMORPG and i didnt like the art style the game used either other then that its main mechanics were not bad at all.
(ahh yess and i hatteeeeee bangaaassss!!)
It be cool to see some more Cameos from the FF universe, as long as Cloud and Aeris (Aerith) are still in it.
And If the FFXII (Haven't played it yet T.T) Ivalice is the past Ivalice, then is there an Ajora(That Mythical Heroine/Priestess that predicted the end of a Civilization in FFT) in FFXII?
I want to play as Kefka! *Maniacal laugh*
I wanna play as him BEFORE he got shanked, for more than 30 minutes k thnx.
DON'T BELIEVE ONDORE'S LIES!!!!
If Cloud and Tifa can be in the PSX version, what's the diff?
What I'd like to see them add is some of the other races (Vierra! And also bangaa, after that I don't care)
...is a DUDE. In both games it mentions this. Altima doesn't even have a gender, as it takes the gender of the host. Ajora was just some clown who started his own religon.
It'd seem quite logical to put him in. In FFXII, he was mentioned as the swordsman that traveled through dimensions, didn't it? Collecting weapons? Well.. maybe be a hidden boss, that's really really hard. Like the Hell Wyrm in FF XII.
