Fast and futuristic racing on WipEout Pulse video |

Anyway, the lucky folks over at PSPGen managed to get a preview of Sony's WipEout Pulse and were kind enough to share the video with the rest of us. It's short and sweet (the video quality is a bit hard on the eyes though), featuring the first minute and a half of a race. We see some action when the player shoots at opponents and we also experience some vertigo as we see the ship go upside down - at high speeds.
WipEout Pulse will be speeding to the shelves this September. Why don't you check out the video for now? It might tide you over until the game's release.

this is nothing as fast as F-zero GX for the GC.. its even slower than f-zero x for the n64..
This really isn't any different than Wipeout Pure, Wipeout games are a pain in the butt to play and thus no fun...and overall, they get more praise then they deserve...a 6/10 quality game getting praised for nothing while many other games are left in the dust...its sad really.
I don't really understand all the hype either. I mean, is it fast? No. (extreme g is faster..) Is the gameplay good? In my opinion (!) no. Although anyone can have his own opinion. It's no bad game but really imo not the creme de la creme.

The demo is only a taste of the whole Wipeout experience. The game is going to be one of this year's highlights on the PSP - the gameplay is excellent and the soundtrck awesome and with all the game's new features it will beat anything in the same genre.
I can't wait for the full release.

Because if you did you'd know that the game goes in on a curve. Unlike F-Zero GX (which personally i did like) But Wipeout Pure started off on a slow Speed Class. The more you raced the more Speed Classes you unlocked. And the game gets FAST! So play a game through before you judge ya mook.
its awsome. wish multiplayer was enabled so i cud kick my dads ass at it like i do on pure lol. my dad sucks at it but he aint as bad as the dude in the vid lol
my dads had a psp for less than a week and he's better at that track than that dude rofl
