Expand the saga with Star Wars: Lethal Alliance

One of the most esteemed sci-fi space operas in our and our parents' generation is "Star Wars". In a span of more than 20 years, George Lucas' epic has spanned through, not just six movies, but books, toys, video games, comics, cartoons, and a whole plethora of other materials.

To fill in the gaps between movies, the franchise has branched onto these different media. As mentioned, one of them involves the video game industry, in which the latest installment brings us Ubisoft's Star Wars: Lethal Alliance. This game is set between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope" and centers around Twi'lek Rianna Serena, who is tasked to steal some confidential documents concerning the Death Star.

The release date for the game is plotted on December 3, and while that's merely a few days away from now, here's another batch of screens to check out.

CEO of Ubisoft: Ok guys, we need to make a lot of money this year. Any ideas?

VP of Marketing: Lets make a Starwars game! And better yet, at CHRISTMAS!

CEO: Good idea! But that's a lot of money for Licensing right?

VP: No Problem, we can just take a broken graphics engine, a mediocre camera, cookie cutter level design, a bunch of worn-thin minigames, and then slap the Starwars logo on it.

CEO: Excellent! Now what will make this game appealing?

VP: Oh that's easy... everyone is dying to hear some storyline between Episode III and Episode IV, so we'll just hype that for a few months...

CEO: Now you're thinking! Who will be the main character?

VP: Sir, please... we'll put a Twi'lek broad like in Jabba's palace in there and all the little fantasy boys will be drooling.

CEO: Good... good... What about the Jedis? They're supposed to be all but gone yeah? People WILL want lightsabers!

VP: Again sir, not a problem. We'll just give the Twi'lek a pointy glowing stick... which of course on the box will LOOK like a lightsaber!

CEO: This is why you're my top guy! Any other ideas?

VP: Just one more... and this will be the kicker... We'll have two types of screenshots released before the game hits the shelves... The first set will look like K.O.T.O.R. and the second will show a bunch of first person space battles with LOTS of tie fighters. No one can resist that.

CEO: Right you are! Well then, lets get started!

VP: No need sir... It's done.

CEO: Done?

VP: We didn't hire those chimpanzees a week ago for nothing...
