After providing an entertaining report of "creepy voyeurism" and "dental-floss thongs" about Tecmo's fap-magnet, Dead or Alive: Paradise, the ESRB has taken down their description for the game following inquiries about its appropriateness.

ESRB spokesperson Eliot Mizrachi released this statement:

The rating summary for Dead or Alive Paradise was posted to our website in error, and we have since replaced that version with the corrected one.  We recognize that the initial version improperly contained subjective language and that issue has been addressed.

Our intention with rating summaries is to provide useful, detailed descriptions of game content that are as objective and informative as possible.  However they are ultimately written by people and, in this case, we mistakenly posted a rating summary that included what some could rightfully take to be subjective statements.

We sincerely regret the error and will work to prevent this from happening again in the future.

lol! good one!

But seriously, we all know why Team ninja is making this game.

When I played Ninja gaiden 2 demo for PS3. I was f**king shocked! Both females in that game...sixaxis motion used for boobs? It's as useless as programming the sixaxis shake function to move Ryus left testicle.

:D :D :D
You had me busting up so hard on that one, lmao. Makes me wish QJ had a quote of the day function.

Didn't some of the games also have a setting where if you put the age to 99 (or some other number) the mamms would basically be at zero gravity? I forget the title atm..

Well how about that. I'm impressed with ESRB this time.

That last summery reeked of pseudo progressiveness and suede elbow pads.

I can't believe they're so strict with video games, with stores refusing to carry 18+. Movies are a lot worse, and the ratings aren't even enforced anymore. Hell, commercials are worse.. I feel awkward watching some commercials if my mom's in the room.

I very much doubt Tecmo will be complaining too much about this because this is actually good advertising for the game and will sell a s**t load more than they might have, if i was Tecmo i'd be sending the ESRB a thankyou letter.

I'm a long time fan of DoA, and loved playing volleyball. Can't we just take this game for what it is?

Soft core porn.

NO SHIT IT WAS SUBJECTIVE!
What else would DoA be without 99% naked ckicks playing games on a beach? I'll tell you what... a feminist convention... *shudders*

Something tells me the original DOA:Paradise ESRB-reviewer is going to lose his job for being a smartass.

I love you, smartass.
