Duodecim Prologus trademark now filed in Japan

Ó

ayalight"Duodecim Prologus" is a trademark filed by Square Enix, first spotted in Europe, then a week later in the US. We're still not sure as to what Prologus will be for, but now, the same trademark has surfaced in Japan.

Obvious speculation would be that it has something to do with Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy. The trademark is supposed to be for use with video games, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it will actually be a game. Whatever it is, the publisher has trademarked it across the three major regions.

Square Enix has been keeping a tight lid on the subject, but we might know soon enough. The publisher will be holding a major conference this January, so we might get the announcement there.

my guess is still an OVA. that's actually more of hopeful thinking, but hey, it's anyone's guess.
