Driver 76 - custom gameplay video |
Ó
Ubisoft and Sumo Digital's Driver 76 is currently out for the PSP - in North America atleast. GamesRadar has just posted a custom gameplay video for the video game. The fifth video game title of the Driver series and prequel to Driver: Parallel Lines, Driver 76 is looking to impress. It features an open-world environment (which is comparable to GTA's sandbox) and centers on driving and shooting gameplay. The new trailer showcases the first couple of missions - meeting up with Slink and hijacking a fish truck. Driving around in a very retro lavender convertible would be sweet - only if it wasn't stolen.
Driver 76 for the PlayStation Portable is set for release in May 11 for Europe. Anyway, you can check out the video by clicking the Read link below. Enjoy!

Yay!!
I just downloa... i mean bought this game and... it sucks the graphics, the control, the sound and even the main character! they all suck! only the soundtrack is good about this game so... ltrr!
When i discovered that the Driver franchise was gonna grace the beloved handheld, i was anticipating this release with excitement (loved the first, liked the second, hated the third, played the forth).
I just played the first five missions, and so far, i can say that i am impressed.
A nice game, that is definitely worth a decent try, at least.
When pressing the ^ button on the D-pad it enters slow-mo, and shooting from the car is a good addition too, making game-play more interesting at times.
I have yet to discover and try other features such as tuning cars with Nos and finding some motorbikes to rip around on!
The overall graphics are just what can be expected from the hardware (not as clear and defined as GTA, a little more dull & grainy maybe). The size of the game world appears to be fairly large from what i have seen (and have yet to see!).
Voice-overs are okay, not too annoying IMO. Soundtrack fits well. Controls are fine. Strong story-driven missions.
A PSP exclusive and a solid game. A new addition to my collection, and i for one shall be playing this game for a while.
Driver '76 = Thumbs Up!
