Don't miss half your life: Konami shooters, PSP-style

Three new PSP games, three Konami classics. From the same guys who brought you the Metal Gear series, their retro shooter games have made a comeback in the Japanese market, with people's eyes glazing over in glee. The portable versions for Twin Bee, Parodius, and Salamander were just released last week, each costing ¥ 3000 (a little less than US$ 25).

If you weren't able to play these games back in the day...well, some might agree you probably missed half your life. There's no word yet if you can redeem yourself from that though. Konami hasn't mentioned anything yet about bringing the PSP-versions over to other shores, but still, their Gradius Collection is making us keep our hopes up. We want power-ups, Konami!

r-type ?

Should the Salamander Collection be R-type collection ?

nope

MAME is worthless on the PSP, and SNES emulators don't play arcade games..
