PM Studios has announced the upcoming release of DJ Max Portable 3, the latest iteration of popular rhythm game series for the PlayStation Portable.

Developed by the Korean game maker Pentavision, DJ Max Portable 3 will feature more than 50 songs, unique modes, customizable options, and a yet to be announced new feature. The game is set to launch sometime this year on the UMD and PSN Digital Downloads.

Also according to a blogpost by one of the devs, DJ Max Portable 3 will be a simultaneous Korean and International release!

It is DEFINITELY going to be localized.

Oh man, this is the game that is going to make me clock another 100 hours on my PSP.
The previous games probably have some 300 hours total already. In fact, I'm surprised all my buttons aren't mangled and broken. Kudos to Sony for making a handheld that is so ridiculously durable.

By far my favorite series on the PSP!
After Black Square, I'd never think they would make a new game...

I wonder if they will keep the auto correct feature (the one from Black Square), it has it's pros, but overall, I hope they will go back to the DMP2 sytem.

Can't wait

YES definately the best rythem based game for PSP!! one of the only series that I didnt pirate for the PSP!! i hope they got back to DMP2's system, but possibly keep the bumper mode, I like using the bumpers

btw, did anyone notice that all the games except the firstone you can press any button to hit the notes, like a note comes for circle, but you can press any button to hit that note >_> i hope they take that out, makes the game to easy lol
