Dissidia: Final Fantasy - Image 1

According to Sony's TGS 2008 line-up Dissidia: Final Fantasy is listed as both a UMD disc and a downloadable game on the PlayStation Store. Let's hope this is true, and that it'll be available for regions other than Japan as well.

We know from the PSP PlayStation Store update that Sony will be offering first-party games as full downloads, but third-party games haven't warmed up to the idea yet. But then Square Enix isn't your run of the mill third-party studio.

If you remember, a rumor was also going around earlier this month that all PSP games will be available as downloads in 2009, so who knows? Cross your fingers.

Im sure that they will have some kind of protection on them, kinda like the PSX games from the PSN.

If its going onto the PSN then its not Piracy!! You have to buy a PSN card to buy these games from their store.
