That's one of the first trailers I've seen from start to finish with Japanese voices.
I honestly can't see why some people get so hung up when western releases of these games remove the Japanese voices. They're either irritatingly high pitched or irritatingly deep. I also don't get why you wouldn't want to play something in your native language...

I doubt the japanese voices are really much better...
if you understand japanese.

The murikan voices are worse because you can understand how awful the dialogue is, combined with the atrocious delivery.

At least in japanese it just sounds like odd jibber jabber.

I cant even recall a game were I was particularly impressed with the voice acting.

Maybe soulblade.

Not hidious seems to be the best it gets.
Which still makes it unnecessary at all IMO.

Just a goofy alleged selling point in liu of any actual gameplay advances.

because the majority of the time, the western version is ridiculously corny, it tries to execute the epicness of jap voices. BUT! for soem reason crisis core and dragon ball z pwns the jap voices.

Does Tifa not know who Sephiroth is? I think i've watched enough anime to know that "Anata dare?" is one of the ways of saying "Who are you?".

If so, thats a nice twist, Sephiroth might bring her to the dark side 8)

yeah I realised that too, so I'm guessing some of the characters that appear will lose their memories .. or something like that.

How many characters will fit in this game. Right now it makes me wonder if downloadable characters is how they manage to make all of them fit. Cause the first game was pretty big in size.
And its fun to see all new costumes of the characters. Like Tidus topless :P Hahaha

Don't tell me that the storyline of this would be just as shitty as the first Dissidia?! Heck with those stupid dialogues, this is a fighting game, they should have added more actions on the cutscenes instead of crappy dialogues. They just never learn.

players dont mind bad voice acting, its just that not all players can understand japanese language, so they rely on western releases for them to actually understand the story..

Why Tifa? She would completely suck. Think about it, what would she possibly do? A black belt from FF1 would of been better than her. They better add more 7 characters other than one or else that would of been a waste adding her. And since this a prequel it would make more sense to add Zack and not her dumb@$$ (Think about it, it would follow 7's story perfectly if Zack dies at the end; explains why Cloud is emo in the first one) but oh well. I hated 7 anyways :P
FF3 FTW!!! (crosses fingers for Xande or Desche to be in the game)

@shdwlink

ff7 is great, it wouldnt line up with 7's story in any way shape or form if zack died in the dissidia universe. lets keep it original here screw actual characters from ff3 onion knight is where its at

i agree on most of the post here, i would love to see "Vincent" From FFVII instead or "Tiffa". But if they are bringing girls, why not include all female chars from FF? like Selphi, Aerith, yuffie, even yuna.
