DevHook 0.51, in full live-action video |
Ó
Now witness the video of one such Hallelujah, uploaded by NilzXX into YouTube - and dude, thanks for sharing this with us and with the rest of the world, and may the scene bless you for your generosity. Faram.
As you can clearly see, he starts from Dark_Alex's SE-C, boots up DevHook 0.51 on the Stick, and now we're seeing the "dash-3" options, such as the Remote Play option (although "An internal error has occurred" - we'll leave it to Nilzxx to explain), even the option to plug in a "PSP-compatible camera" (does this mean we can use Chotto Shotto with DevHook 0.51?). And you can safely retreat return to 2.71 SE-C when you need to.

I haven't run into any bug other than maybe the default settings like menu that you set timezone, language, etc. showed up when i first started it up. So this works a lot better than 2.82 dehook .50.
Great job Booster! Boo to sony!(waiting on the next pos fw)

Only thing that it could be is that something wrong happend when you dumped it or the way you dumped it.

It was mentioned because the .50 devhook wouldn't successfully return to 2.71 SE-C.

maybe it would be possible to use a webcam or something as your PSP camera (obviously not a really portable option, but still neat if its possible)
just a thot

You can nab it now!
Even though I have admittedly own a few ISOs, this does open the gate for me to make purchase of MGS Portable Ops, in the near future; Just like previous Dev Hooks have allowed such purchases like Syphon Filter, Socom and Daxter. And there is healthy homebrew ;)
Thanks Booster + Dark Alex

i had troules running devhook on SE-C until i read you have to make a game 150 folder (i didnt worry bout the SE-B firmware and SE-A i only tried and then recovered back to 1.5)

The remote play took me 3 try to get to work. I could manage to view photos / videos / music / Web browser and XMB perfectly... It lags a bit but very usable. I'm going to one of friends house who also owns a wireless network to try and load music across Internet from my PS3 !!! If this works OMG!!!
I love gadgets when they work !!!!
PEACE

My advice would be, if you're having any problems with it, start from scratch. Extrach the Data.PSAR again, decrypt it again, load it into a freshly copied DH folder. just literally start again.
Then empty your flash1 with DH, then flash the files to Flash1 again.
This sorted out all my problems, and I have all the 3.01 features working perfectly. :)
Big thumbs up to Booster, have been waiting for months, but it was WELL worth it!

Ok, so what's true and what's false? The fact that everything works fine on the XMB and those people getting errors have bad installs because they lack reading comprehension of readmes in general, or the fact that there are errors in XMB for no explainable reasons for some people and the further fact that some games simply will not play? Because if that's the case, something is not right with the emulation. After all, people will full blows 3.01 on their flash (dumbasses btw) don't have any issues playing any of their UMD games, both old and new.
So, which is it people?!?!?!
