For most living things, decapitation will probably result in something singular and final - death. Sometimes though, there's an exception to this rule (cockroaches for example, they get to live before starving to death), and Dead Head Fred is definitely one of them.

This PlayStation Portable exclusive from Vicious Cycle and D3Publisher centers on the story of one Fred Neumann, who quite literally, lost his head. Anyway, in the screenshots, we see Dead Head Fred battling the other weird things that populate Fred's world. We get a peek at the gladiators and the Captain Nemo-ish bone mutants and their captain. We also get to see some stills of Fred's powers, like the lightning strike, the Edward Scissorhands-esque claws, plus some decapitation action dished out by the headless Fred himself. Sort of like twisted eye for an eye justice, eh? Head for a head.

Dead Head Fred is scheduled to hit the shelves on August 21. In the meantime, check out the screenshots.
