Custom Firmware 5.03GEN-C released UPDATE CFW 5.50GEN-D3 now available

The wait is over guys. Homebrew coder Yoshihiro and the rest of Team Gen has finally released the much awaited Custom Firmware 5.03GEN-C installer for those who have to rely on the HEN to get homebrew running on their PSP-3000s and 2000v3s.

As we posted yesterday, this new update includes:

Compatibility with all known PSN Game/Démo from on 15/12/2009
Compatibility with all known UMD on 15/12/2009
Add ISO SPeed MS loading (Bêta version non really tested because we don't have any fake MS)
Network update

Here are the list of some unpatched new games that has been tested and compatible with the latest firmwares:

J-League Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou 6 Pride of J
Naruto Shippuden Narutimate Accel 3
James Cameron Avatar The Game
Phantasy Star Portable 2

Battle Spirits Kiseki no Hasha

I think with mx vs atv reflex being a Low priority game because not many people like it there may never be a patch for it, But still confused why they would say ALL games up to 15/12/2009 work But mx vs atv reflex does not LOL.

this still needs a lil work.. I downgraded back to Gen D2, hopefully we'll get Gen D3-2 and it corrects the volume button errors and a few others.. Thanx for sharing though!!

There's a glitch in 5.50 GEN-D3 with recovery mode and Popsloader. :( If you enter recovry mode via the R button, then go to exit, you get a random glitch where you lose sound. When you run a ps1 game and choose your pops, once it stars, you loss sound everytime you play the game. :( Please look into it when you get the chance. :) Im using a Slim PSP. Thank you. :)

i am so sick and tired of people like you who always say "if you complain try code it yourself" most of us are not developers so how could we code it? that phrase is so over used if theres something wrong with it we report bugs also there was no point in this update apart from letting lazy people not have to take a couple of minutes out of there time to patch the game they want to play so get over it

Right on pspgen's site is a new News post stating the wrong version of D3 was posted, which could maybe explain why D3 has been so crappy for some.

Nothing serious, but a note to grab the updated release of D3.

In fact all these other download links people uploaded are now pointless as they were all unfinished copies

Has anyone else had the installer shut off their PSP? I'm using a PSP-2001 model (USA's Slim model) that had 5.50 GEN-D2 on it. It won't let me install D3 though. Any help?

It remembered my PSP's name at least... Can't talk about the net settings, it has an error when trying to connect. I don't use the WiFi anyway so it's not a major issue for me.

Popsloader still has no sound. :( I have a Slim with TA-085 mother board. I ripped my own prx from the firmwares and ripped games from my own collection. I even used this with it.

Don't get me wrong, im gratful for everything they did to make Gundam vs Gundam to work. But i don't wanna sacrifce my Popsloader for it. Hope they can look into it when they have a chance. :)

but mine was after booting flash0 and putting in a new gameboot and opening_plugin.rco file. I have D2 though. I will not be getting D3 since Yoshi quit, so he probably screwed with D3 just to fck with us... I don't see too many necessary features anyway...
