A wise man from the yesteryears once said, "There's no such thing as too many racing games." Sigh. Such profound wisdom, eh? And right he was, 'cuz despite the countless racing games available in the market right now, we still warmly welcome new ones that promise that same thrill of exhilarating speed.

With Sega and Deep Fried Entertainment's Full Auto 2: Battlelines (PS3, PSP), it's not just the thrill of speed you'll be looking forward to, but also the weapons and explosions you'll get to inflict on the vehicles you'll go head to head with in the races. And just in case the kickass features of the game have slipped your mind, here's a quick refresher:
  • 65 chapters, 15 different car models
  • 15 different car models, nine of which are new to the PSP and each with distinctive skins, decals, and colors to choose from
  • Customizable items, some from the garage menu and some as rewards for accomplished missions
  • 18 weapons to choose from, 10 of which are brand spanking new (including the Mortar, M16, M60, Aircraft Gun and Heat-Seeking missiles)
  • Weapons can now be placed not just on the front and back of vehicles, but on the sides as well
  • Multiplayer modes: ad-hoc versions of the arena deathmatches, new modes like Head-On and Down & Back
  • A rockin' soundtrack including tracks from Stone Sour, Sum 41, We Are Scientists, and tons more

I think Crash Tag Team Racing was a pretty good game. Pretty innovative with the two players clashing and then playing together, plus its an adventure game and a racing game all in one! Anyway this game looks like its gonna be good as well...
