City of Heroes, City of Villains downtime for Live Update

In case you were hoping that the City of Heroes and City of Villains' downtime from last week wouldn't be happening again for a long time, we've got some bad news.

NCsoft has sent an announcement stating that they will be shutting each MMORPG's servers this March 4 to upload game update 16.20080122.10T4.

Much like the previous downtime, the servers will be going down the appointed day at around 6:00 a.m. Pacific time (9:00 a.m. Eastern). That's a couple of hours away, if you happen to have run into this article just now.

The downtime is expected to last for two hours, though you may want to check with the game client in case they may extend the downtime, or finish earlier than expected. Drop by again in case this announcement gets an update.
