And for those who get lucky, they just might find something uber-cool under that wrapping paper - like a new game, or *shudder*, a new PSP. But before you even turn the thing on, or shout it out to the world, remember two things: One, who's giving it to you (friend of foe)? Two, does he/she have a malicious grin on his/her face as you open up the package? As the old Cold War proverb goes: Trust but verify.
We just found this video of a guy preparing a prank he's pulling on his younger brother, and it involves a brand-new PSP, a cheap PSP knockoff, wrapping paper, a ribbon, and a video-cam. But don't take our word for it - watch the video and see how he's pulling together part one of the ploy.
In retrospect, it could've been worse - he could've swapped in a Pink PSP.

I still have bad memories of christmas pranks a lot like this played on me (such as the neighbors inviting us over christmas to show that they had gotten the fourwheeler I was supposed to be getting or getting ready 2 rumble for PSX with my new dreamcast) that ruined much of my happiness for those occasions. So mean. I'm scarred, really.

What I thought as I was reading this was giving a bricked psp, or one with a corrupt gameboot or version change a ta-082 so it says 1.5 and have the person go mad.

I'm all for this prank. My older brother and friends did something similar to me for my birthday. They 'gave' me a game that they know that I didn't want (which sorta got me pissed) and had me search around the house for the real game xD.

It would be funnier if he put the real psp in the fake package, then when he gets pissed you gave him a piece o crap call him ungatefull and keep it himself.
What is so *****ing funny about some little kid opening what he thinks is the package of his dreams - turning his older brother into a hero - and then crashing his dreams and suprise, and if young enough, making him cry on Christmas morning when everyone should be happy.
