Homebrew coder Torky has recently updated his Custom Firmware M33 6.20 plugin, a nifty app that allows you to play 6.20 firmware games on your beloved custom firmware M33. Notables features of the latest release includes compatibility upgrade for Go!Edit, FIFA 2010 World Cup and other 6.00+ required games.

Changelog:

Compatibility increased (Go!Edit, Fifa 2010 World Cup, perhaps even more?)
Go! Cam added support for XMB

Instalation:

Download the official firmware 6.20 and Psardumper below
Create a directory folder kd620 on your memory stick
Use Psardumper to dump and decrypt usbcam.prx and usbmic.prx on the 6.20 firmware update
Copy the files usbcam.prx and usbmic.prx into the kd620 folder
Copy the plugin, m33_620.prx and m33_620_user.prx into ms0:/seplugins
Now activate m33_620.prx in ms0:/seplugins/game.txt and you're done

I have been trying to get Silent Hill Shattered Memories to work on my PSP(5.00M33-6) with no luck at all. Tried patched version and decrypters, tweeking this and that, and even did it myself with no luck what-so-ever. I even tried the first release of this plug-in and still no luck. I was beginning to think there was no hope since I never want to upgrade to any-other CFW. Then the update of this very same plug-in was released. I tried it on an UNPATCHED rom and it worked!!! Now I can finally enjoy this quote: "worst Silent Hill game ever made" lol Thank you Torky

Activate only m33_620.prx in ms0:/seplugins/game.txt

ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1

AND ms0:/seplugins/vsh.txt

ms0:/seplugins/m33_620.prx 1

Confirmed PSP-450X Camera now works in XMB on CFW 5.00 M33-6.

Do I have to dump the ISO for Peacewalker onto my memory stick or can I play it straight from the UMD. With the UMD in I keep getting the MUST UPDATE TO 6.20 prompt. I am on 5.00 M33-6 and I put the Plugins in the seplugins folder and the text into the txt files and enabled them.

Okay, so no one responded to my post. Well, the ISO will load on my Modded slim. So I guess that answers my question. So for future reference guys.. you cannot play straight from the UMD w/ this plugin, you still need to rip the ISO.
