That's why Hashino has sent out the reassurance that they are now working on a patch, which should then ease out the difficulty. No sense calling it "Easy Mode" after all if you're going to be sweating blood.
As to when this promised patch will come to fruition, however, is left to be seen. As usual, though, we'll be sure to keep you updated on this one. In the meantime, just hang in there, I guess.

Typical Atlus.
They've always had a culture of great art design, original gameplay mechanics, and horrendous often artificial or "cheap" difficulty to make the experience less fun then it should be.
Atlus games have always been out of the question without cheatcode adjustments IMO.
