The result is...rather unsuccessful. The chat up lines aren't the best, and although I haven't met the Japanese designer, I can't imagine he has much success with women. Most of the time the software gets the phrases wrong, so if you are going to use this, I suggest you use the pre-defined conversations rather than the voice translation. As for the other person, just hope that they know how to use Talkman!
Besides, I don't know any girls that would like any guy to shove a PSP in their face and start asking 'where is your apartment'.

that video sucks. the editing is all crazy and you cant even really see how the software works. Either that or the game is absolutely f*ed up. Like in the video she says something in spanish and the next scene shows choices of phrases in english. Doesnt it have to translate what she said before you choose another phrase to say in response??
I'm from Spain and let me say the video is quite ridiculous, the sentence about the weather is not even correctly translated on the PSP screen LOL
and we definitely have girls in the U.S. that look much better than this... and the whole teeth thing, it's ok that you guys don't know what good hygiene, a dentist, or an orthodontist is, it's ok, you'll learn one day...
First of all, you're supposed to speak into the microfone at a distance of 8 inches, and he had his mouth right next to it. Also, the game clearly states that it doesn't recognize dialects and accents, and that guy was hardly speaking RP (BBC/queens english). I haven't had much problems with it to be honest. Then again, I haven't used it much. Got a promo version a few weeks back that I've been playing with.
ppl who make hombrew items and ppl who use it should really stop using this because sony might cancel the launch of any more PSP's because of the lost in its profits so chill for the sake of all PSP users
