It seems that the Activision creation, Call of Duty 3, will also be offered for the PSP. We are actually caught off guard with this new development since we thought that CoD3 will only be offerred for the next-gen consoles, the Xbox360, the Wii and the PS3. Now it seems that a PSP version is on the way. Slated to be released on Fall 2006, it is being offered at $49.99. Call of Duty 3 enables its future users to get closer than ever to the fury of combat as an Allied soldier in World War IIÂ’s most harrowing military operation, the Normandy Breakout Campaign.
Melee combat and destructible cover bring you face-to-face with German forces. Multiple attack routes mean you decide whether to flank your enemy or hit him head on. Varied terrain, next-gen graphics and sound, and a dramatic story deliver Call of DutyÂ’s signature cinematic intensity.
This is great and all but there is one thing that bother us and that is the control...How you would aim with a dumb thumb analog on a tiny screen? This may be crazy but unpredictable...and most of the time, the combination of that two results to something good. Well, let's just wait and see about that.

awwww man....i think this requires fw 2.7 to play....and i really looking forward for a umd loader for fw 2.5 to play higher fw games...
I think they should make an usb thumbstick that clips on to the right side of the PSP.
some kind of adfd on would be great as a right analog stick would be much better than a left analog stick for most people. But if not they could always allow you to do as other FPS games on PSP have done... allow you to use the triangle, circle, x and square buttons, in my experience it works pretty well and is better than the current PSP analog stick.
Coming out on everything (Even the bloody PSP!) apart from where it sodding well started - PC.. I wonder if these people are trying to annoy the hell out of PC owners???
If it's not that, PC owners are either getting crappy console ports, or some badly done version of a half-decent console game (GRAW springs to mind here - Xbox360 version good, PC version sucks!)

this game is not being developed by infinity ward, so it won't be the same thing. don't expect too much.
What the psp needs is eather a good fps or a mmo that will put the psp in everyones hands

all they have to do is incorporate the right analog stick better so dat it feel smooth when moving the crosshair cuz dats da only problem i see like even if they had 2 thumbsticks the aimings going to always suck because it feels all out of place and poorly done if they did dat to this game maybe a fps will be fun.
Why does everybody want another thumbstick?
If you think you can't play a shooter with one stick think Goldeneye, Pdark and the like.
I don't know why they don't use the N64 as a model when they are coming up with the control schemes for these games.
Battlefront 2 was such a chore to play I sold it off.

LOL well if you EVER went on your PSP and went to sony's psp only site (meaning you can only acess it from a psp) you would have known this for a while. Also in response to 16, Activision has been letting alot of different companies develop the CoD series. the best of the entire series is CoD:UO the game was truly amazing.. but its lost its shine now that everyone uses some cheap-ass mod that makes the game easier for those with no skill what so ever
for gaming news id advise you all to check out ign, gamespot and dare i say gamespy, because this site is pretty slow for official news.. but for homebrew its the shiz.

I have a PSP so I was hoping for a Call of Duty game for it cause there my fave game series so POP here they blow out the third for PSP!! the graphics are the best you can get the game has the best action and its the best Call of Duty they've made along with history from WW II . BUY A PSP AND BUY THIS GAME BEST COMBO EVER (sorry this is so long).
