Bullets fly out of metal projectile launchers, so it's no surprise that a game of this name and caliber would definitely end up on a handheld. In any case, Activision's Western-themed adventure is bound to elicit a bit of squeamish groaning, as someone's head gets punched off in this video, among other things. And bears!
Yep, head punching-offing is apparently in this game. Of course you also get a ton of new missions, multiplayer options, and a quickplay mode, but decapitation by punch definitely looks like fun. You also get to fight bears for some reason, which seemed somewhat out of place in this trailer, but well, that's the price you pay for metal projectile launchers, death sucker punches, and a violent shoot-em-up extravaganza.
Thank goodness. Finally, an article about this game without any mention of the word "gun" in the body! Er... Dagnabbit.
Wait for this game to come out in the fall, and remember, there are over 200 possible synonyms for the word "gun," but there's only one Gun: Showdown.
