Some of us used to play an old superhero pen-and-paper RPG. According to one of the "Power" manuals there, water-breathing is one of the least liked superpower of all time. That's a surprise, because one of the best DC superheroes had this power: Aquaman.
We mentioned that Hawkgirl and Aquaman will be unlockable characters in the Justice League Superheroes game for the PSP. Since we already saw Hawkgirl, it's time for the Dweller of the Depths to make his appearance.
Aquaman has gone through so many changes the last few years. From the clean-cut, orange shirted look to a bearded, hooked hand, back to the preppy look with a mystical hand. He's also dabbled with magic on his most previous incarnation. He basically gives up the superhero life and gives his costume & name to the new Aquaman.
From the pictures below, it sure looks like the hero in question is the original Aquaman.The one in the game is able to create some sort of water bubble to subdue opponents as well as create a shield from his mystical hand. The new one both had real hands, longer hair, and is unable to use any kind of magic. Apart from Aquaman screens and artwork, we also see the wise-cracking Flash and the voluptuous Zatanna fight monkey-like opponents in the game.
The game will flying (or swimming) to stores on October.
