You haven't grown tired of eye candy from SCE Studios Liverpool's WipEout Pulse, have you? Today, we have more screenshots from the upcoming PlayStation Portable video game, courtesy of JeuxFrance.
WipEout Pulse looks shiny and polished on the outside - and heck, we're all clamoring to take a sneak peek at what it has under its hood. Right now, everything looks smooth around the edges for the futuristic racer, though the rest (gameplay and multiplayer features) remain to be seen. The screenshots we have for you today showcases WipEout Pulse' futuristic feel, plus the enemy annihilation via blasters and such.
The ETA for WipEout Pulse is still a bit fuzzy right now (hopefully, September), so you might as well check out the screenshots for now. They might tide you over until release.

I had the chance to play the promo in a large games store - that already made me freakin' out! AWSOME!
Unfortunately the didn't let me put the UMD in my PSP for a few minutes.... ;-)))
i got to play it as well.. and love the new Hud,
the meters and all are curved, resembling the look as if it was part of the window.
It's really fast, and wider tracks. Something I loved.
Though sadly it has slowdowns at moments, loss of frames.
Hoping it's only because it's the "Promo" and not the complete version. *crosses fingers*
But is it just me or did they not make much of a graphical improvement? The hud is nice but I mean like the tracks and the vehicles (are they cars or what? I can't decide)
the promo is pretty good, i found wipeout pure a little dissapointing, i really loved the look and flow of wipeout 2097/xl, pure didnt have that, but i played the pulse promo and was really surprised, it looks and feels alot better than pure, and its a little more inventive with the circuit layout
The actual gfx of it are WAY better than those screens.
The gfx have lower polgon counts than pure has. Shows what the psp hardware can do in terms of smoothing and other effects.
i gots the promo copy pretty sick game aye... these screenshots are so from somebody playing the promo rip..
