RPG titles that take a visual cue from old console games have proliferated on the PSP in recent years. One such title is Jikandia: The Timeless Land, an upcoming PSP RPG from Opus Studio Inc and Idea Factory.

The game isn't exactly a well-known one to casual PSP gamers, but fans of the developers will want to check it out. It's pretty much par for the course when you take Aksys' non-Arc System Works portable releases (Mimana Iyar Chronicles, Cho Aniki Zero) into consideration, though.

To further build up more hype for the game as well as sweeten the deal for gamers, Aksys and GameStop are throwing in a pre-order freebie for Jikandia. Don't expect something too grandiose, however.
