In the high concept horror-thriller feature film "Snakes on a Plane", Troy McDaniel (played by Keenan Thompson) was able to land the snake infested plane thanks to 2,000 hours of playing a PlayStation 2 flight simulator. We don't really know if that's possible, but that's one reason to tell your folks for marathon playing of Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception on your PSP.

Namco Bandai promises to deliver an authentic flying experience with Ace Combat X plus detailed jet models, a new storyline told through CG and plenty of real world jets. In this flight simulation game, you get to play pilot in the Gryphus Squadron of the Federal Republic of Aurelia. Your mission is to defend a country under invasion in airborne battles. And in case you do find yourself on a plane with killer snakes, your Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception might come handy, too.

The game they should port is aerowings and aerowings 2 that were on the dreamcast. Or make a sequel to those. Or usaf, man usaf was so realistic they sued satellite photos of actual terrain and had the entire inside of an actual stealth, Im surprised the terrorists didnt get their hands on that game.

i disagree, i got the USAF demo and it sucked. Fighters Anthology shall always be the world's greatest flight sim, unless something else comes along with such a great aircraft selection (about a hundred of them), easy mission editor, modding toolkit, and an engine that can render 50 MiGs onscreen at once with no slowdown. That game is a modder's dream, and it holds the title of my favorite flight sim about a decade after release the Ace Combat series is very fun in its own way, even though i would count them as action games rather than flight sims. I love the excellent graphics, unrealistic physics, tight control, and free-roaming maps. I really hope devhook emulating 2.81 comes out by the time of this release

Snakes On Ace Combat...

...not really but I think Ace Combat for the PSP is going rock!!! These screens look awesome. I hope they fill the 1.8 gig UMD full! I wasn't going to watch Snakes on a Plane because it looks stupid but now that I know it has to do with PS2, I will probably watch it, even though it probably sucks. Thanks again QJ for the heads up.

are you tlaking about Jane Fighter's Anthology? thats a few sims in one package not one sim! ANyway about usaf: http://pc.ign.com/objects/011/011527.html This Jane's flight sim features eight jets from the U.S. Air Force, more than 62 historical and hypothetical missions -- including a semi-dynamic future campaign. Advanced graphics feature spectacular special effects, 3D *****pits for each aircraft and screen resolution up to 1280 x 1024. Missions can be recorded and played back. Detailed, "real-world" terrain uses stereoscopic satellite data with true elevation and coloring. Voice activation technology can control wingman commands, aircraft operations and pre-defined chat messages.

i know FA is a compilation of ATF Gold, NATO, and USNF '97, but come on, they use the exact same engine and are the exact same game. Think of it as one of those "gold edition" PC games that come with their expansion pack(s). It certainly beats USAF, where you only get 8 measley aircraft and horrible execution lmao it censored the cok in cokpit in your post strangler on topic, those screenshots look awesome! Even if there's any slowdown (there was in ace combat 5) i can fix it by clocking devhook to 333mhz and it'll go at 60fps
