Ace Combat: Joint Assault announced for the PSP |

Great news guys! Namco Bandai has just announced an all new Ace Combat game for the PlayStation Portable. Ace Combat: Joint Assault is the second installment of the highly succesful flight sim franchise to hit the PSP after Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception.
Details are a little bit scarce at the moment but according to IGN:
The big news is that the game's namesake plays a major part in the experience as the story mode can be played with two to four players. Some missions will make use of the new Joint Assault Mission System, which breaks the players into teams and has them coordinate attacks where each effort can affect the other team's situation. So, one team might be tasked with taking out a generator in one location, while the other is sent in striking a ground team. If the first team disables the generator, the other team will find that the enemy's defensive systems will go offline. Happily, players won't be stuck with a local experience as the game supports Ad-Hoc, Ad-Hoc Party and Infrastructure connections. There will, of course, also be adversarial options for competitive multiplayer as well, which will support up to eight players.
The game will also feature more than 40 aircraft types, real world missions and an all new Enhanced Combat View mechanic which aims to remove the distanced fighting seen in most every modern day tactical fighter.
Unfortunately, Namco wasn't able to give the exact release date of the game but promises that it will be out this year. Stay tune for more updates on this one.

But Microsoft doesn't care if they receive more Xbox 360's to repair, it's money.
Fanboys need to stop whining around.
If it weren't for the games, the consoles wouldn't be entertain-able.

Well anyway, astaroth001, actual PSP games require PSN login to be able to play online.
If you can't buy games for PSP, then you shouldn't have a PSP even.
