Final Fantasy II Dengkeki PlayStation scan - Image 1Final Fantasy II: Anniversary Edition will soon be available in Japan - on June 7 to be quite precise. It's just a couple of days away from now and we shouldn't be surprised if Square Enix is really doing its best to make the comeback a truly memorable and remarkable one.

True enough, what we have here are the latest assets released for the title. The page scan was taken from Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation by Jeux-France and the video below is a TV spot currently airing in the Land of the Rising Sun.

We're pretty much certain that we will get localized assets as the North American July release draws closer. Final Fantasy II first appeared back in 1987. The remake will feature the old well-loved dungeons as well as several new ones.

Square Enix also employed various improvements like an in-game camera and full wide screen support.
