A petition for a Resident Evil game for the PSP |

The petition states:
We, PSP ( Playstation Portable ) owners would like Capcom to release to our beloved handheld game console at least one of the games from there famous survivor/horror franchise : Resident Evil. We are also aware of the fact, that there is already a PSP version of the first Resident Evil game on the PSN ( Playstation Network ) but because of the lack of PS3 systems we cannot purchase this game. Seeing the history of Resident Evil games on Playstation consoles, we can guarantee you, that the game will be a success.
As of this article, there are only 13 signatures so far on the petition but you can help make it a reality. Let's bug Capcom till they deliver on the goods. After all, what's good for us is good for them. The more the signatures, the more they know there's a market for the game.
Resident Evil 5 for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 has no release date as of yet but is expected to be out in 2009. It's already gained a reputation as the "sunny" Resident Evil. Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles will be out this year although no specific date has been announced yet.

no thanks. I'm not signing for a game that i will get in 2009. Maybe if it was out already, and we just sign and they make it on psp, so I'd have it in like a month, alright but im not waiting two years for a friggen game.
then why can't it also go on the DS?
The DS had a RE game...and...well, let's not go there. As far as stupid online petitions go, they are stupid and pointless, your screen name means nothing in the real world.

It wont work. You know better than that. PSP is not popular right now and Capcom knew and that's why they do not want to develop for it.
PSP has been greatly growing in popularity in the last year, it may not be up to the same level of popularity than the Wii or DS, but we're getting there.
first this sould be in the psp section.
and second: buy the psone version (it still rocks) and play it on the psone emulator on your psp
the DS is no where as powerful as the PSP you'll just be getting a really lame version in comparison. PSP is not a handle held its a portable console(it says it in its name basically). It comes very close to the capabilities of the PS2 plus its a media center. Imagine playing resident evil 4 on a PSP it my not look as good but it would be close llook at metal gear solid or socom. The DS is a true hand held that gives a hand held experience by giving nice fun quick games that you can play shortly on the road. A PSP in some games actually forces you to sit down and take your time. i never played FFVIII on the PS but on the PSP its great. Homebrew- i bought the discs for $14 dollars download them on MY PC harddrive with some software i found on the internet got an eboot downloaded the iso to my 2 gig stick and bam FFVIII on my PSP. O yeah no matter how many petitions you make your not getting crono trigger on your DS. hahahaha i did the same thing to my chrono trigger and played it all over again on my PSP.
How many PSPs will sony have to sell to be popular? dont they have over 10 million sold. wasnt powerstone created by capcom i wouldnt see a problem with a RE on the PSP. If any one asks only 2 disks can fit own a 2 gig at a time. you also have to use some more homebrew to get disks to switch when your done with the previous one.
they've made a bunch of stuff on the psp including Darkstalkers, viewtiful joe RHR, Capcom classics collection, several megaman games, ghosts n goblins, puzzle world, & Power stone just to name a few.
If they decide to make a Resident Evil on the PSP it would probably be after RE5 or maybe when they start developing that DMC game they've been putting off these past few years.

Why the Hell not, IDC about the graphics, if the game is good release it I'll play it no matter the time it takes...
everyone knows that at anytime you look at the forums on here there will be 15 viewing DS or any other thing and ALWAYS over 150 viewing the PSP forums, so dont even talk.
