A peek inside the Lumines Live Advance pack |
Ó
If you've been following our coverage of the whole Xbox Live fiasco with Lumines Live!, or you've been "victimized" (for lack of a better term) by Q Entertainment too, and are pissed off about the whole situation, we're guessing you've decided not to get the VS. CPU pack, Advance Pack, or any of the additional stuff you'll have to buy to get the whole game. Now, if our guess is right, you also have to admit, you're still curious as to what exactly is inside the Lumines Live Advance pack. Lucky enough for us, Spencer Yip of Siliconera decides to forego Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (for now at least), shelled out 750 points to get the pack, AND shares with us the pack's contents. According to him, he's not a fan of the microtransactions, too but he just had to find out what's included in the pack, especially the skins and songs.
According to Yip, the new pack resonates of a more world-music-groove with "Shadow of the Grandfather" (hip-hop sounding with smiling blocks as squares), "Mysterious travel to Asia" (with its Asian strings), and "Hometown" (which kinda sounds like Irish dance music). These songs, as well as most of the twenty two skins in the pack will also be available on Lumines Plus (PS2) and Lumines II for the PSP, so maybe we could just think of the pack as a preview of what's in store for us in the PSP game.
In order to unlock the songs in the pack, you're gonna have to get through "advance" in challenge mode, and once you unlock them, that's the only time when you can use them in skin edit mode and play the songs online. BUT, that's if the person you're playing with also has the advance pack. All in all, the pack still falls short of what you would expect from a 750-point download but hopefully they'll include gamertag pictures, achievements, songs, and dashboard themes in future packs.
Here's the list of songs included in the pack:
Block the Sky, Aoi, Bean Jam?, You Are Not Here, So that Someone May Visit You, Hometown, Kabuki, The Mission to the Moon, Bad Boy Century, Dao, Kawaii, Shadow of Grand Father, Mysterious Travel to Asia, Cuckoo Clock, Hikaru Frame Work, plus one more song that Siliconera won't reveal just yet.
Also on PSP: Round About, Talk 2 You, Aback, Sister Walk, Darkside Beside the River, Tintoy.
Pre-order: [Lumines II]

Why make you download extra packs? What if you have no, or limited access to the internet? They should give you the full game. Grrrrr....
Thats it.
Impressive how the could screw a puzzle game,is not like this is Loco roco or Mercury Meltdown 2 well known games thanks to their style and original gameplay and great fun value,is just tetris with Special Effects and great music and they simply screw it.
A big lol,but what you can expect from the x360 these days.
Bomberman act zero,Worst game EVER.
They try to fix something bad for the sake of the game,so if you have a ds and you somehow have a x360 this is the closest thing you will have to a PSP version.
Or they could do it on porpouse just to f*ck you and rip you off for their sadistic fun.
Anyway is wron,is WRONG!!!
Big lolz.
i personally love lumines live and would have paid up to 50 dollars for the game to be on 360. I dont feel ripped off at all simpy because i feel it was worth every cent spent on it. I might not buy anything beyond the advance pack which is good but what i have is a way to lumines with people all around the world. I mainly play my friend across country and my boy in korea. Lumines is great on any platform but on the 360 you can play anyone anywhere anytime with the game.
You are a dumass if you are paying 50 dollars for a video game and not pirating. You deserve to be ripped.
Shut up and get lost!
P.S. I bet your boy in Korea didn't pay 50 US Dollars for it. He's got more brains in his pinky than you will have in your seven generations.
Dumass!
