300: March to Glory, published by Eidos and developed by Collision Studios, is looking to break the mold of movie based games by providing more than the usual fare for the PSP. The videogame, based on the movie which was based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller, tries to capture the look and feel of both its influences. While technically an action game, the developers have promised that it won't be a button masher but a more tactical affair.
In the game, you will play as King Leonidas, leading 300 Spartan men against the Persians. You and your men will be equipped with standard Spartan fare - a shield, a sword, and a spear. You will be needing all three as the Persians, led by Xerxes, send their cavalry, footmen, the immortals (the elite fighting force of the Persians), and even various beasts against your men.
The movie and book had spectacular visuals that have captivated fans of both genres. 300: March to Glory has a lot to live up to given the high bar both (movie and book) have set. Check out the new screenshots and see if it's lives up to expectations.

I hope this is just like the movie!
Already played it, its a little bit like ghost rider. Hurra to CFW 3.10 :D
Its a sweet game. It shows the movie in animated pictures. Its just like the movie as well. HIGHLY recomended. Its got sweet combos that make the screen in slow motion when you do them. The game play gos really good with the movie as well. I love this game and i bought it. You should too. Now im going to see the movie for the sec time today.
Is anybody stuck on the level where you start off pushing back persians? Not the one in the beginning.. but like half way through the game.. I can't push them off my line, and I have to keep restarting from checkpoint.. It's fricken irritating me..
I got stuck at the same place myself, kept restarting thinking that I just wasn't getting them fast enough. Turns out you are not hitting your CIRCLE button fast enough. Just pushing it doesn't seem to actually "push" them back, you have to tap it rapidly a few times. Once you've done it you'll get a feel for how quickly you need to do it. Once I got that tip I completed that portion first try. Take it slow or you get overwhelmed and have to push alot which eats up your phalanx time. And they like to arrow rain you ALOT on this one so be prepared duck.
I'm stuck at the level where you fight the butcher (guy with blades for arms) and the bone goblin...it's where Daxos (I think) is on the chopper. I kill everyone but the heavily armored guy (not a monster - human) and he just won't die!
hit him with a wrath attack R+Square or X
i played the game and i think it's a great game...but i think it could have been better on the graphics. owh and im also stuck but im stuck on the part that you have to fight against slaves, those green dudes and weird monsters. i didn't see the movie but afther this game... i can't wait to see
Could you be a little more specific on where you are stuck? By the way, the movie was amazing. REALLY GOOD and worth seeing in the theater.
well there is a part when you come on a plane and you see some huge rocks and enemies in front of you then some dude stands on a rock and sends out the slaves, then the green barbarians (or something like that) and afther that he sends in some weird monsters now the problem is i never killed one of those so how do i kill them thx maybe i will see it in IMAX for a better experience
i already passed it the best way to defeat those monsters (Still dont know there name but they come with the slaves and mongols) is to do a combo and stun them(like X,Square,circel with the sword) im reading the comic now cause the movie comes out 22 of march in my country
