SCEA has released a few gameplay videos today showing off Lemmings in two different levels. The 30 second clips are for a grassy level and an Egyptian level. The videos show that some thought is required to successfully get the lemmings to their goal. Lemmings is an incredibly popular classic title that's getting some great attention on the PSP. While this game has already been released in other parts of the world, it's not due out until May 23rd in the States, just after E3, and is bound to be a fan favorite.

» If you.....................

If you reserve lemmings or field comander or any other game that hasn't arrived it will only be playable in 2.7 and you will have to upgrade lol.

» Sounds great but....

Why don't we just use the old Lemmings (1+2) SNES games with an emulator??

Sure, it's old, and graphics aren't as good, but still the same premise ^.^

» lemmings on 1.5/2.6 firmwares in europe

Lemmings requires 2.6(euro) but you can back your UMD up and run it in 1.5.

I guess they could change it to only boot with 2.7 in the US.

I wouldnt recommend this game. Gets old very very quickly. You can get a rom about that is pretty much the same game. Just without smooth analog support and not as polished graphics(kinda like how the New Mario looks compaired to the old one)

For Fans only unless you got a spare 50bucks to burn. But save that for a hooker.

» OLD (in EU anyways)

I've been playing this for about 1 month now. I've just completed the 6th taxing level. The levels really do get harder.

» But....

This is fun to play but not for very long this game has always been best played on a pc with a mouse

And this is compatable with 1.5 using run umd

» I don't understand either...

This port of a rather old game that's been out in the UK for some time seems to be getting more coverage than games like Daxter or Syphon Filter ever did. Give us a break.

Kurt. We know you have some kind of affinity/woody for this game, but please go out and find REAL news instead of regurgitating this crap.

If a PSP version of Oblivion were to be released, THEN we'd want to see new screenshots/video/etc. WE KNOW WHAT LEMMINGS LOOKS LIKE. Where's the qj.net quality control?

» @ #11 ...

» @ #12=wrong.

Live in the real world?

Most people don't have time to check this page for new updates every hour. This blog posts SO many articles a day, and many good ones. Now do "alot of us" want to scroll through 20 Lemmings posts to find actual NEWs?

Take it to your ignorant extreme... post any and ALL news. Look! That major site posted a new Family guy screenshot, and this major site posted 2 new Family Guy screenshots!

Within a few hours, new screenshots for any number of games are posted on multiple gaming blogs. Would you like to see a blog post devoted to each update?

No, you silly boy.
