There's something else you could use your copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops PS3 for. If you're done with the game, and would like to give it away, how about you trade it in instead?

Black Ops uses P2P on the console versions of the game anyway, so anyone who uses the "slower server" argument is just a delusional good-for-nothing fanboy. There are legitimate reasons for preferring one console over another, then there's preferring whichever one mama and papa happened to buy for you so you don't feel butthurt about not having the other.

I have both consoles, and honestly I play both in good measure. When my Xboxes aren't red ringing, anyway.

Just checked at the store they marked down the PS3 version because it is inferior.

Only $20 now. Even with the extra 50% offer not worth it. I paid for Black Ops new for $30 lol.

How exactly is GameStop making money from this? Is Activision taking the hit to avoid the legal threats from organizations such as the Gamer's Rights Group? Or maybe SONY is subsidizing GameStop to put copies of Killzone 3 in everyone's hands at an attempt to make it the number one online shooter. Interesting nonetheless and an awesome deal for us gamers!

What complaints? I haven't heard anything PS3 specific lately. In fact I've heard some people who have the game for both systems are preferring to play on the PS3 as there is less lag and hit marker problems.

why dont you just trade in your copy of black ops for killzone, wait a week or two until the promo ends, and go and pick up a used copy of black ops for cheap. seeing as theyll have thousands of used copies.

I called every gamestop in my area and talked to several "store managers" and they say the only deal related to killzone3 is an extra 25% trade in value towards purchase of killzone3. I don't know where this article came from. follow up please
