FolksSoul is one of the more unique-sounding titles headed to the Sony PlayStation 3. In fact, the concept seems a little weird when we first heard of it. Weird doesn't necessarily equate to bad in our opinion. Actually, it's far from bad. Just check out these new screens:

As mentioned in previous articles, the game has an enigmatic plot where two protagonists receive letters from people who are supposedly dead. The notes lead them to a village where they investigate, hoping to unravel the mystery behind the letters. Oh, did we mention that the place is infested with strange beings who want you dead, too?

The game is the newest spin-off of the Monster Kingdom universe and follows a lot of the same mechanics as previous titles. Players will be able to conjure monsters of their own to battle the baddies and aid them in their quest. The game is slated for release in Japan this June.

this game probably will do wonders for the PS3 in Japan. Expect to see a healthy recovery of PS3 sales. SONY knows Japan, surely they are cooking a lot of titles to promote PS3 over there. CELLIUS comes to mind. Awesome games and a price cut are coming it is just a matter of little time.
