But of course, our day wouldn't be complete without any update on the highly-anticipated Gran Turismo 5. This one's breaking news, too, as it comes straight from Kazunori Yamauchi's Twitter account just minutes ago.

The Polyphony Digital's tweet was short, but oh, is it ever so sweet if it's true! "It looks like the release date is about to be announced." Obviously, he's referring to Gran Turismo 5, right? Because that's the only one they should be caring to announce, right?

 

 

The game has been subject to much criticism because of the on again, off again status of its release. Recently, even IGN UK was reported to have "confirmed" that the game will be out by the end of this month for Europe and North America. Could these dates be the same one that Yamauchi is referring to? By "about to be announced", did he actually mean that someone's about to press that SEND button on the press release email containing the re-assigned dates right now?

 

 

 

We can only speculate for now. Actually, speculating has been all that we've been doing the past several months. Just get the game out already, please.

Wolf too many times but considering all the youtube videos of the game being played it has to come out by yet to be said date. I just hope it comes out before the end of this month cause i tired of the endless array of military shooters.

I hope this is definitive cuz I'm tired of GT5 getting delayed so many times.

If they want to make it perfect, fine, but stop announcing dates which they'll cancel!
