Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is on the home stretch of its North American release wait period, and to keep you company as you drool in anticipation, we've got a video that you'll find very interesting. Featured in this one is no less than series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, and he talks about a lot of great things about their upcoming games.

Particularly interesting is the subject of body damage in vehicles. Referring to that gameplay aspect as "the usual question", Yamauchi said that they're actually very close to putting it all together. He explains that it'll take just a wee bit more convincing on their part towards the car manufacturers to make this concept happen.

The famed developer also talks about the kind of research which went into Gran Turismo 5's development. He also touched on the game's online aspect, as well as the question of which steering wheel works best for their title. If you're curious about all that, just click play on the video below and be enlightened. Enjoy!

hey if you go the point 2:13 on the video, you'll see that they took the home icon out of the main menu. Boo.

Don't Do It Sony!

What will all the Forza boys have left to complain about in GT if you do?

man

I so hope they're able to get visible car damage in GT5! It will truly be the most amazing experience known to gamers. It'll be like getting a cake from Sony to eat and then another just to have ;) :D

the only reason...

I will not buy the prologue is because doesn't have car damage. GT can look amazing and is the best looking car simulation game but without car damage is like a pin pon game.

.

For as long as it's taking to finish the game they should have damage modeling. I'm not going to bother with prologue because it's not worth full price.

at 22 seconds it says Grand turismo 5 - Sony - PSP YA I WISH. and that guys voice in the begining (the narrator) makes me want to punch the screen.

I'm sure...

that they can still complain about the fact you have to buy the game 2-3 times before you actually get a "finished" product....
