While Yakuza 3's sojourn outside the land of the rising sun is still up in the air, Japanese gaming mag Weekly Famitsu gave out a few details about the game. Namely, mandatory installation.
Yep, before you can step into the Japanese underworld in the shoes of series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, you'll first have to install the game. The mandatory installation will eat up 5,120MB of hard drive space. Whew, good thing the special edition Yakuza 3 PS3 comes with an 80GB hard drive.
Of course, the installation will really only become a factor if you decide to import a copy of Yakuza 3. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed though. The first two Yakuza titles made it outside Japan, so why should Sega deprive series fans of this new entry? Keep checking back here for more updates.

this game may not be as successful as gta4 but it will sure earn lots if given the proper promotion.
yakuza 2 was a great game but is released under the gamer radar so it didnt do well. hope sega learns how to know which of their games are great and needs support rather than forcefully pushing sonic into over casualness.
***im using a 20gb ps3 japanese model upgraded to 250gb and dual shock 3, usb keyboard, mouse and logitech driving force pro on a wuxga hdmi computer lcd***
