Now on its 20th anniversary, the Metal Gear franchise have definitely made substantial contributions to video games. It's inevitable that everyone in the gaming industry would want to party in celebration of what defined the stealth genre. In fact, even Xbox Japan's general manager Takashi Sensui dropped by.Before anyone comes up with a conspiracy theory, the head honcho isn't there to have talks with Hideo Kojima behind the curtains concerning Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots on the 360. Kotaku claims to have received word from the man, and here's an interesting snippet from the conversation:
Kotaku: Why are there still rumors that MGS4 will appear on the Xbox 360?
Sensui: What do you mean?
Kotaku: Kojima appeared on stage at a Sony event, saying it was an exclusive. But the rumors won't stop.
Sensui: Many of our users want MGS4 on the Xbox 360.
When asked if the 360 users will actually get MGS4, Sensui told Kotaku to ask Kojima himself after pointing at the man on stage. What exactly is Xbox Japan's head honcho doing in the party? "Kojima is an old friend of mine," he said.

MGS4 is not going on the 360
Kotaku ahhhhhhh yess, the Xbox 360 fanboy site for the fanboys of the world. Xbots that is.
LOL sony fans need to face the music. Every step Xbox fans take, be it making rumors, having execs talk to Kojima personally, or even selling an xbox 360 console, it all brings it one step closer to having MGS4 on 360. And the funny thing is, there isnt anything a ps3 fan can do about it! What, you gonna make another online petition? LOL, you gonna refuse to buy MGS4 if it goes multiplat?
Face it, the 360 has the largest install base, and with a game as expensive as MGS4 they will need to recoup their money, and they arent gonna do it with only 3million PS3s. Hell, not even 6million would save them because even then they would have to sell to 100% of the install base. And if it were just some rumor that 360 fans made up, sites and magazines wouldnt be publishing article after article about it.
The more we talk about MGS4 on 360 the more likely it is to happen. Konami will see there is a demand for the game and they will supply. It isnt about loyalty or history, its about money. Konami is a business, and businesses run on MONEY, not honor.

Just because Takashi Sensui was present at the party does it mean the game will make it to the Xbox360. Tetsuya Nomura was there as well. And I believe some other important people from other non-affiliate of Konami.
If I could, I would ask Tetsuya Nomura what is he doing there as well. And I doubt Nomura would say, "Square-Enix will get rights to have Snake in one of our games." Come on, get over with the exclusivity. If this game is really going to Xbox360, then it would revealed long time ago.
PS: I own an Xbox360 and not a PlayStation 3, facts are facts, no other substantial facts are coming out, just rumors.

From the site it reads this

Just watch the new gameplay trailer and you'll see why its not for 360. It has sixaxis control and when Snake controls the metal gear, he uses a ps3 controller. I mean it wouldn't be hard to change those little details but the fact that they are in there in the 1st place should prove that it is PS3 only. I mean why use a PS3 controller when you could just use a remote control?
Everything you mentioned could easily be implemented on a standard controller, just differently. The fact that they're in there doesn't prove it's PS3 only, it only proves they're using the tilt facility of the PS3 controller. It's no different than games last gen with made use of triggers and buttons one controller which are not found on another.

Devil May Cry 4
So what they're still saying it's exclusive? I'm sick of the rumors though. If they're going to announce it oficially, it's going to be probably 3-6 months after it's released on PS3 so why can't the rumors wait until then?
But yeah it's obvious Konomi wants to make money and sony's too cheap to lower the PS3 price to get enough PS3 sales or pay for exclusivity so I would say there's a 90% chance of it coming to the 360.

I know what you're saying but it doesn't apply here. For obvious reasons there is no way Halo 3 will come to the PS3, just as there is no way GT5 or Killzone will come to the 360. But MGS4 is possible, hence the rumours, and these rumours have been running for quite some time from various sources, not some blog on the internet.
So when are Ratchet + Clank, Uncharted, or even Tekken coming to the 360, never. Some games stay exclusive, believe it or not. Now to this rumor, it's not going to happen. But if it does the 360 version will be watered down AND on 2 discs.
Rumors, Rumors, Rumors. There are just as many rumors saying it's not coming to the 360. At E3 Sony was very careful to let you know some games (Haze, UT) were timed exclusives. There was none of that with MGS4. It's clear the M$ executive was there to give Kojima $50 million dollars. Konomi may be scared to lose him as an employee altogether if they release on 360. THat's why I think this is his last, they are going to put the rest on 360 as well. Look for Kojima to come out with a new franchise, that's PS3 exclusive.

At E3, we were told Haze and UT were timed exclusives because WE ALREADY KNEW THESE GAMES WERE COMING TO THE 360 BEFORE E3! Therefore they had to clarify whether these games will be released at the same time on PS3 and 360, or if they were timed exclusives (and sorry to shout :)).
How can they say anything about MGS4 when there is no announcement of a 360 version...yet? This is exactly what happened with MGS2, rumours rumours rumours, denials denials denials, and then the announcement of MGS2:Substance for the XBox.
More recently, we had this with DMC4, with gamers insisting it's exclusive to the PS3, using comments from Capcom (or lack of them) as proof that there will not be a 360 version, and then Capcom announced a 360 version, prompting a dumb petition from Sony fanboys.
MGS2: Substance didn't require money from MS to be ported to the XBox, so it is NOT clear that Kojima or Konami will receive anything to port MGS4 to the 360, that's just fanboy talk (sorry, but true).
When Hideo Kojima says that a game is exclusive to said console you can bet your ass that it will be exclusive to that console. Besides the game uses the Sixaxix motion sensors for a lot of things. Plus when Snake controls the Metal Gear MKII you can very clearly see that Snake is using a Sixaxixs controller to control the MKII and I doubt that the controller of another console can be shown in the console of the competitors.
Yo dumbass. What the F.U.C.K does Devil May Cry 4 have to do with MGS4. In case you didn't notice Capcom does the same thing with all of its games. Resident Evil 4 originally anounced as a Gamecube Exclusive then later ported on the PS2. Do you have any idea how many ports they have made for Street Fighter 2. They also announced Viewtiful Joe exclusive to the Gamecube and later was ported on to the PS2. In case you didn't notice Capcom isn't really making any exclusives anymore with the exception of Dead Rising and Lost Planet which I'm pretty sure will be heading to the PS3 once it has more units sold. So basically when Capcom announces a game exclusive to said console then you have to take their word with a *****load of salt. Now Konami is very different from Capcom. Konami announced Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops exclusive to the PSP and to this day it has stayed exclusive. They also announced Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes exclusive for the Gamecube and to this day it is still exclusive. They also announced Metal Gear Solid 3 exclusive to the PS2 and to this day it is still exclusive to the PS2. Now I recall that MGS2 was never announced as an exclusive which is why they also released an Xbox version. Now the point of the Xbox version was to test the waters to see if there was huge demand for the Metal Gear Franchise on the Xbox Platform if it sold well. The game sold like crap which basically told Konami that the Xbox fans just simply didn't like Metal Gear. If MGS2 would have sold well on the Xbox then there would be a lot of Metal Gears available for the Xbox and the chances of this one getting ported would be incredibly high. So basically it's you and every other Xbots fault the reason why you will never see MGS4 on the 360. It's your own damm fault anyway. You know what the problem is with all you Xbots. You guys want to play MGS4 but you own a 360. See the problem. You don't own the right console for said game. If this game was going to the 360 then it would have been announced a long time ago.

Sixaxis control can easily be done with analog sticks. Devs just use it because, well, because it's there.
Blu ray storage is only useful for uncompressed audio and full motion HD video, which metal gear games have always used ingame rendered cutscenes anyway.
Come on when are the XBOX 360 ports watered down? If it comes out later, it will be better. Remember Metal Gear 2 Substinance on XBOX? Not only better graphics, but more modes and features.
