Okay, so WipEout HD gets its 1.26 update. If you try booting the game up, you'll be prompted to the usual update. So what does it do? Bugfixes? New features? Actually, no one really knows yet. All we know so far is that this update is 11MB, and that this new version is 1.26 and not 1.20. Graphics enhancements, maybe?

No word from Sony yet, but you can bet it's gonna be right here on QJ as soon as they let out a peep.

I smell the beginnings of awesome 3D gaming. In case anyone didn't know Sony was working on 3D gaming and I remember reading that Wipeout HD was one of the games it was being added to.

My only fear is a game that already causes people to go into like convulsions, will be incredibly insane in 3D. I'm drooling with excitement.

Jk, but seriously, I am intimidated now, I played wipeout a few hours ago so it must of been after, it makes me happy to know that the devs are doing something but most likely it is a patch to their network server or something.

That's where I originally read it. I really hope that it comes out alright and sadly I hope we don't have to use the red and blue glasses, really makes things ugly. Hopefully it turns out alright as I have been looking forward to stuff like this since I played a 3D dinosaur game back in like 1994 for PC

Thx for the read, that would be interesting if it were to broadcast in 3d-hd. and I wouldnt mind the glasses lol. however if such a thing were to debut they would of said something ahead of time. Like I said this is probably a patch to the online play or something

what it needs is a patch to revise the AI difficulty.

even on the easiest setting, the competition is ridiculously fierce. the ai on wipeout hd, on easy, is equivalent to the ai being on hard on previous wipeout games.

I've never played a previous wipeout, but i didn't have any trouble with the AI in this one, maybe you just need more practice. BTW you shouldn't say a game sucks if you're not good at it

as a series has always been know to make it difficult on gamers.....all you gotta do is practice though, as even the hardest difficulties are beatable...

i don't say it sucks because i suck at it. i say it sucks because the difficulty level is ridiculous. it's alot harder than the other games in the series. the first few stages in the campaign are okay, but after that, it gets ridiculous.
