Wipeout HD official site opens |
Ó
A lot of us were excited when it was announced that sci-fi combat racer Wipeout was making its way back to current-gen gaming with Wipeout HD. Now we'll be better able to monitor its progress than ever before with the opening of its official site.
As you probably know by now, Wipeout HD will be a downloadable game from the Sony PlayStation Network for the Sony PlayStation 3. The original Wipeout and its sequel Wipeout XL were technical masterworks 10 years ago, but Wipeout HD looks to take things a notch higher with 1080p visuals and a breakneck frame rate of 60fps.
Futuristic, high-velocity hovercraft racing is about to get a bit more advanced thanks to the Sony PS3's hardware chops. We're looking forward to its release before 2008, and we'll be monitoring Wipeout HD's official site for more updates.

If it's priced right, i'll get it. I wanted to download Wipeout XL from the Network but not released yet. I hope Wipeout HD is good.
